Heh, heh. Tonight I stumbled upon a hidden little feature in Fedify's CLI.
If you run `fedify nodeinfo mastodon.social -b` you get a cute little ascii art representation of the instance's logo.
Happy to see a bit of fun mixed into these fedi tools!

Sanity prevails. Marriage in temporary chaos, but we will find our way through this.
My initial reaction to this article was amusement, then a reality shock, then empathy for humans that don’t have or don’t want this type of intimacy in real life, that feel actual loss.
Then sadness for their loneliness and finally anger at the AI companies that took advantage of that in the first place.
Well, #TIL you can submit a title and description via the git CLI just by adding a line break in your commit message. Or, just add -m tag twice.
Better late than never, I guess. I blame .NET and Visual Studio for me not knowing this.

Using @fedify@hollo.social to see how far I can get with very simplistic AP objects and activities. The tutorial and documentation was helpful and gave me a solid template to work from.
The fedify CLI is a great debugging tool, too.
The built in tunnel command makes it a snap to spin up temporary servers that are open to the public web for testing. Here I have two instances spun up so I can send activities between them.

Found a new web-based fediverse app that looks nice and supports MFM and Emoji. Works great with IceShrimp.NET. (thanks to JoinMastodon.org app listings)
Edit: oh! It works with Hollo, too - I always forget that Hollo supports emoji reacts.
